ARTIST STATEMENT
I CHOOSE TO DO A MOBILE APPLICATION BECAUSE NOW A DAYS PEOPLE USING SMART PHONE.
IT BECOME A CULTURE NOW BECAUSE PEOPLE ARE REALLY RELY ON IT. TO THEM MOBILE CAN BRING
THEM ANYWHERE AT ANYTIME. SO, THE MOBILE APPLICATION I CREATE IS BASICALLY ABOUT THE
BUILDING IN KUALA LUMPUR. BY CREATING THIS APPLICATION, NOT ONLY MY GENERATION CAN
FIND THE INFO BUT TO THE NEW GENERATION ALSO, SO THEY DIDNT FORGET OUR HERITAGE.
USER CAN FIND THE INFOMATION THRU THIS APPLICATION AND SEE THE DIFFERENT ON IT.

TECHNICAL STATEMENT
USING ADOBE TO CREATE VISUAL AND INFO GRAPHIC ABOUT KUALA LUMPUR NOT ONLY THAT,
USER CAN SEE THE DIFFERENT BETWEEN BEFORE AND NOW A DAYS. USER CAN DOWNLOAD THIS
APPLICATION ON THE MARKET AND IT FREE. USING A VECTOR INSTANT THE PICTURE WILL GIVE
USER MORE INTERESTED ON USING IT.

Writing
Kuala Lumpur the capital city of Malaysia starts off from a small settlement where miners met at the confluence of two rivers. The rivers which formed a confluence with the Klang river,now known as Gombak river was then known as Lumpur river.
 The Malay words ‛Kuala’ meaning river mouth and ‛Lumpur′ meaning muddy, so how the name ‛Kuala Lumpur’ came to be. The site is where Masjid Jamek now stands.

 Masjid Jamek was built in 1909. Until the completion of Masjid Negara in 1965, Masjid jamek served as KL’s main mosque.

The development of KL tended to concentrate on the left bank of Klang river. In the early days of KL, after tin mininghad become an important economic acticity, the little town was gradually divided into two quarters. The malays were found more to the north of the settlement and the Chinese to the south, more to the interior. There were two main malay villagers – Kampong Rawa, roughly where the Bank Muamalat (previously Bank Bumiputra) is today as well as Melaka Street and Kampong Jawa (from which Jawa Street took its name).

 Jawa Street is now known as Jalan Tun Perak.
